Scagliola course

Welcome to the space dedicated to training on the scagliola technique.

The course is aimed at all those who want to learn about this ancient technique, both for personal interest and to make it a profession.

The course is intensive and allows you to experiment with the fundamentals of the scagliola technique in just a few days, but to master it completely you will then have to dedicate yourself with passion and perseverance to personal experimentation, with the certainty of always being able to count on my help in case of doubts or unforeseen events.

Lectures are carried out with laboratory methods. After a brief presentation of the technique and a theoretical introduction to the materials, we proceed with a demonstration of the dough. Afterwards, the students will be able to experience the processing directly, creating simple tiles with various marble pattens.

We also proceed with the sanding and grouting phases, which are essential to achieve high quality results of the products.

The dates of the course will be announced soon, but it will take place in autumn 2024.
